I have a personal saying, “What a shame, not to frame.” You might expect a photographer’s home to be full of framed moments of sentimental value. And you would be right. So I encourage all of my friends, family, clients – anyone who will listen – to frame their favorite photos.
Are your beautiful photos sitting on your hard drive or hanging on your wall so you can admire them every day?
Don’t worry, it’s common for brides and grooms to not get around to printing the favorite photos from their gorgeous wedding collections. I know you have super busy lives and a long to do list. So I just wanted to remind you of all the ways you can print and enjoy your wedding day photos.
Wedding albums – if I visit someone and see a wedding album on the coffee table I always love to have a peek. Don’t you? There’s something about holding the album in your hands and turning the pages and seeing the love story unfold that is meaningful and touching. You just can’t get that emotion from looking at the computer (or worse your little iPhone).
Framed prints – Family and friends love to receive a beautifully wrapped framed print on a special occasion like birthday or Christmas. That photo of you and your grandmother hugging after the ceremony would look lovely in a simple gold frame. And guess what? I am sure she didn’t get around to printing it either.
Wall prints – Everyone should have a beautiful canvas print hanging in their home to remind them of the best day ever! I consider my work to be my art. It makes my heart happy when couples tell me they have made the most of their wedding photography investment by hanging a print so they can revisit their wedding day over and over every time they walk into a room.
Speaking of birthdays today is mine. Well, not my actually birthday but my business’s birthday – 12 years today that I’ve been shooting loved up, beautiful couples. To celebrate I am offering a 20% discount on customized wedding albums for any orders made in August.
So what are you waiting for? Email me or message me on social media and let’s get my birthday party going!
